Not so long ago, I had a dream. In that dream, a man was holding up pictures of different countries and saying the name of the country. He held up one picture, called it by a different name and as I glanced at the picture, I said..."that's MY China".
Immediately I was transported there...
The rest of the dream was set in China, and had to do with God calling me to leadership in Intercession. My response to the map of China in the dream, has really stuck with me...
"That's MY China..."
I truly LOVE China, and have for as long as I remember...I have not yet been, though I have a deep desire to go. Hopefully soon.
In the mean time, I have collected some photos that capture some of what I love about China....Isn't she BEAUTIFUL?....
I want to cry when I think of her...and see the beauty that God has created in the landscape, and the people.
Here's a glimpse of a place that God has so put in my heart...enjoy!

What an amazing dream, Jenny! Beautiful pictures. So neat that God has put such a passion in your heart for this far away Country. I know is is very close to your heart.
Love you!
Wow! Your china is breathtaking! I love those pictures...I had no idea China was that amazing! I want to go there now!:o)
I think that it is truly amazing that God has put this passion in your heart for a country that you have never visited. Beautiful pictures - I never imagined China to be this beautiful!
Wow, thank''s for sharing your dream and beautiful China with us....she is gorgeous. The photos are breath taking....WOW!
Within each of us is a unique dream....just waiting for it's time to be birthed.
I feel a little silly sitting here reading your comments...they are making me cry.
I wish I understood this better...but the best I can describe it, is like you have all just told me how beautiful one of my children was. Only different...like a child that seems very unlovely to the eye...but that you saw her beauty...and it pleases me so much!
I can't see the keys right now...but Thanks!
Jen,
I love the pictures of "your China", but what moves me the most is what I can see in the faces of the people, especially the kids.

Wow! These pictures are so beautiful and unique. I have never seen China presented like this. Which province or region is it? Thank you for sharing them with us.
Your dream is very special. I am sure God will reveal the deeper meanings to you.

I can't tell you where exactly these were taken. The photographer's name is Feng Jiang...truly amazing.
Jen,
My uncle is from China. It is a very beautiful country with very unique people...
Bless you.

Hey! Are we related? My uncle is from China too! ; )
I know my heart for China started through him and their three babies...now 2 adults and a teen....why it's grown to the point it has, I am not sure....adoption is probably part of it.
Maybe it's the same family....lol...my uncle has 3 adorable children (now grown).. He came to Canada when he was 16. (he changed his name from Lipkuen to Joseph??!!)
It is a very unique country--he is a doctor with very intense work ethic--that came straight from China.
Oh yeah--once, I was speaking to someone and mentioned that my uncle was chinese... they stopped a moment and said "AHH...I see it now..ofcourse..your eyes are slanted.." (hello...uncle is married into the family..)
I just laughed.

I have had the very puzzled looks as well...especially when I say his wife is a Newfie!
Best one though happened to my girlfriend...very white Canadian, married to a very white Englishman, and were teachers in China when she got pregnant and gave birth to their first child...LOTS of people wanted to know if the baby looked Chinese! HELLO!
My uncle was Ming...now Jack, arrived from Hong Kong when he was 10...I know what you mean about the intensity. Jack has mellowed so much...loves my kids...and my kids know that there will always be icecream treats of some kind, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal, and it doesn't matter how late, or how close to a meal we arrive, he will be offering them sweet goodies of some sort as soon as we get there.
Jack's intensity comes out now in his golfing...lots of time and lots of money perfecting his game, and from what Mark says...he's close.
